Hello all – Most teams’ schedules are all set, so now is the time to cross-reference them for accuracy. Everyone should compare your schedule with what your AD has and what the referee assignor for your area has. If you’re not sure who that person is, contact your league representative. (Stay tuned on whether to upload your Varsity schedule to LaxPower, which has experienced some changes. We’ll get back to everyone on that.)

For those still needing games and scrimmages, see below the list of teams still looking for games. If you’re on that list but DON’T need games any more, email Dave Walsh at golexlax@gmail.com to be removed from the list.

This was last posted on January 23, 2018. We’re trying to keep this list updated. If your status has changed and you don’t need games anymore, let me know so I can remove you. If you emailed and I failed to put it up here, let Dave Walsh know (golexlax@gmail.com) and he’ll fix it right away. Meanwhile, everyone keep checking in on this post. (Oh yeah…and please pay your 2018 dues. Click on the “Join/Renew” tab above.) Thanks!

The EMLCA would like to thank Ryan Polley and the entire BU staff for hosting this year’s EMLCA clinic. Those who attended reported anecdotally that they got so much out of it, between the Xs and Os and being able to watch practice. Ryan Polley invited us to attend practices in the future, bring players to games or practices, etc. Just get in touch with him ahead of time. We all wish BU the best in this upcoming season! (And it was great to see old friend Rocky Batty!) Go Terriers! If coaches who attended today’s event have some specific feedback or questions for the BU staff, their email addresses are below:

Thanks also to Darrell Benson, Jim Carbaneau and the EMLOA (lacrosse officials) for presenting on rules changes and clarifications. Darrell Benson’s sheet of rules changes will be passed along to the coaches shortly, but if you have any specific questions, here is his email: dbenson1@comcast.net

Thanks finally to today’s vendors for their support of our clinic. Please consider them for your apparel and fundraising needs:

If you have feedback on this event for the EMLCA league reps committee, send it to Dave Walsh (golexlax@gmail.com) so we can consider it in our effort to create a positive and useful event for our coaches. Please check the “Games Needed” post below…several teams need to finish filling out their calendar. Thanks again, all! Can’t wait for 3/19/18! Good luck!
